The Folklore Museum in Dietenheim near Bruneck shows the environment of the everyday life of rural population of the past.
The open-air site containing old, original farmhouses, craft workshops, farm gardens and domestic animals invites visitors to stay and recounts the everyday life of earlier times. The farm animals are a special attraction, from chicken, sheep and pig to donkey. The museum pond has frogs, fish and wild ducks to discover. The historic bowling lane and other game stations distributed over the grounds such as hopscotch, hoopla, hobby horses and building blocks invite to play and have fun. In the beehouse there are quiz questions for children and for the right solution the kids receive a small reward.
