Chienes is ideal for cross-country skiing and biathlon. As part of the Kronplatz holiday region, the holiday village is part of Europe's biggest cross-country skiing association "Dolomiti Nordic Ski". This allows you to glide along over 1,300 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails throughout South Tyrol, including the cross-country and biathlon center Antholz Anterselva, Val Casies e le Alpeggi di Rodengo.
